We have a fan......a serious Hannah Montana fan.
Emma Sage believed that Hannah Montana was going to call her [not sure how she came to that conclusion] but she went for her nap with the cell phone clasped in her hands.
I quickly called Katrina at college and told her about this 'idea' Emma Sage had come to.
Well, guess who called Emma Sage? Yes, 'Hannah Montana'..........apparently she must have been [or a dear friend who had a great southern accent] called Emma Sage from Flagler College and my little girl was on cloud nine!!!!!
Thank you Katrina and your sweet friend.....you made a little girl so very happy!!!

If you ever read my profile....
You will notice that I am a former sky-diver.......a sport that I love, but gave up when I married Rick. That was the one thing he asked me to stop doing when we got married, as you see, a pilot believes the only time you jump out of a plane is if it is going down! lol!!!
Well, I've encouraged all of the children to sky-dive if they ever get the opportunity, and when you see this video clip, you will realize that I mean ALL of my children.
Sky-Diving
This video clip is absolutely amazing.....you must watch it, and listen to the words of the father and the son, as they are very powerful.
and as Casey's father stated, I look at Emma Sage first as an individual who is capable of reaching all of her hopes and dreams [and if jumping out of an airplane is one of her dreams.......you betcha I'm going to tell dear hubby that I must jump at least one more time!!!!] and there is the big catch, if you have ever sky-dived....you know once is not enough. You get that incredible rush in your soul and the next thing you know ~ your back in a plane with a chute strapped to your back and your ready to fly again!!!!!
I wanted to thank a blogging friend for sharing this video link.........and you know that someday, her son Caden and Emma Sage will be spreading their wings [if they want too!]

Sweet Lullaby
As the sun sets
The day comes to an end
And the sky sparkles with stars
The world is at rest
All sleep peacefully
As I sing my sweet lullaby
My gentle voice
Travels around the world
I sing you to sleep
Hear my sweet lullaby
Feel my arms around you
As I hold you close
To my beating heart
I kiss you softly
On your baby cheek
I sing my sweet lullaby
In my sweetest voice
Hear me sing to you
Hear the message in my song
My lullaby to you
Is the love in my beating heart
That I give to you
As my lullaby grows sweeter
And my words more powerful
A choir of sweet angels
They join me
And we sing together
We all sing my sweet lullaby
Sweetly to you
My precious little one
My lullaby is sweet
Becoming sweeter
And more powerful
Angels joining me
As I continue to sing
My sweet lullaby
Hear my angelic voice
Hear the love in my singing
Feel the love in my lullaby
As I still hold you tightly
I will never leave you
Because I love you
So I will keep holding you
And I will keep singing to you
I will sing for an eternity
And my sweet voice
Will only grow sweeter
The love in my song
And in my arms
Will only grow stronger
I will only love you more
And you are more precious to me
Than yesterday
You will only be more precious to me
As the days go by
I will keep singing to you
And I will sing more sweetly
As time passes by
Hear me sing to you
Hear the message in my lullaby
Feel my love growing stronger
As I hold you in my arms
Hear the sweetness in my voice
Growing stronger as I sing to you
My sweet lullaby
The stars will sparkle
The moon will shine her light
And I will still love you
As I sing sweetly to you
My sweet lullaby

The Calculus of Worthiness
The Calculus of Worthiness
Mike Cave
(December 29, 1947 – January 13, 2008)
"If you don't understand what he's saying to you, the worst thing you can do is just say 'Yes' or 'OK.'" And with those instructions, I, the new pastor at FBC Farmersville, embarked upon my relationship with Mike Cave in 1999. Mike was born with Down Syndrome. The doctors told his father and mother that Mike wouldn't live to celebrate his tenth birthday. He outlived them both (and the doctor, to boot).
Upon my arrival in Farmersville, I found that Mike loved to come to church (although he wasn't nearly as fond of the getting-up-in-the-morning that coming to church required). He loved to sing. Mike sang with gusto. The notes weren't quite right. The words weren't quite right. Mike only knew fortissimo. But the spirit of his worship was spot on............

Guess What Is Missing?
If you guessed another tooth, you are right!
Katrina asked Emma Sage if her tooth was loose and she wiggled it and low and behold, a little tug from Katrina, and my little girl is missing her 2nd baby tooth!
This is such a silly picture, but it was the only one we have that showed the gap.....the tooth was directly below the top one that she lost. We joke with her that she can drink from a straw and not open her mouth!!!!

Emma Sage and Star
He's a one trick pony
One trick is all that horse can do
He does one trick only
It's the principal source of his revenue
And when he steps into the spotlight
You can feel the heat of his heart
Come rising through
See how he dances
See how he loops from side to side
See how he prances
The way his hooves just seem to glide
He's just a one trick pony (that's all he is)
But he turns that trick with pride
He makes it look so easy
He looks so clean
He moves like God's
Immaculate machine
He makes me think about
All of these extra movements I make
And all of this herky-jerky motion
And the bag of tricks it takes
To get me through my working day
One-trick pony
He's a one trick pony
He either fails or he succeeds
He gives his testimony
Then he relaxes in the weeds
He's got one trick to last a lifetime
But that's all a pony needs

She fell in Love......
On the way to visit Grammy at the hospital the day she fell [on my Birthday] the kids and I rescued a little dog from the highway. My heart almost stopped as I watched it dart in and out of the traffic [all going 50 m.p.h. or greater] on a four lane highway a few miles from the hospital. We pulled over and put on our flashers and Katrina and Greta got out and rescued her. She was a miniture collie and Emma Sage fell madly in love with her.
She stayed the night and following day [as we located the owners through the police and had arranged to bring her to them on our way to the hospital the next evening] The dog [named Shasta] was owned by a little Mistress of eight, and guess what her name was? Tara, the same as me!
Here is Emma Sage taking a nap with Shasta.......

Back to Modeling
Before the rush of the season, Emma Sage had a very busy week modeling in the beginning of December. She headed to NYC [I posted about that shoot earlier and then I neglected my blog and posting......I just had such a hard time after the loss of my friend Annette and then my mil's fall, of posting about all that she has been up to....but she has been one happy, busy little girl. It has really refreshed my soul to watch her and be with her, as she celebrates everyday, every moment, and allows me to remember that while life can be tough and sad and unpredictable, each moment is precious and needs to be lived and celebrated]
So in one week, Emma Sage modeled on Monday, Wednesday and Friday!!!!
Here are a few pictures from the last shoot on Friday,
If you look closely, you can see her big smile......she was having so much fun!
Getting instructions from the stylist
This shoot was for a First Grade School book.......how cool is that!?!

Waste-free Lunches
Otto has been joining me in my quest for optimal health. He used to love to buy school lunches [I think it was because his friends did and they thought it was cool]
but since we have been on a quest for optimal health and fitness in our home [I have lost 53lbs to date and have a goal of 45lbs more] he has been taking lunches [this makes this Momma happy, as his sister's always bring/brought lunch] and I found this lunch box and concept wonderful. It is called 'Waste-Free Lunches' and the reuseable lunchbox is located at Laptop Lunches.

I'm Capable
"I'm Capable"
Those are the words you hear often out of the mouth of Emma Sage.
She is so very funny [and very capable]
She will tell you that when she is struggling with something [like tying her shoes] and you go to 'assist' her, she will stop you and say "I'm Capable".....and by golly, she is, as she triumphs over her obstacle.
So if you ask her "What are you?" she will either answer:
"I'm cute!"
or
"I'm Capable"
and we all agree.....she is both, cute and capable!!!!

Santa Baby......
“A new year is unfolding – like a blossom with petals curled tightly concealing the beauty within.”
The New Year is upon us, and Little Miss Emma Sage has been wonderful. Her love of all the Magic and Glitter of the Holiday was infectous. She has been up to so many things, and this Momma has been so neglegent in updating her blog.
I had a hard time dealing with the loss of a dear friend. The fragility of life was difficult to accept and process for me.
I celebrated my 44th Birthday [and Emma Sage was just so excited to tell everyone that it was her Momma's 44th Birthday] and then on the next day, Rick and I celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversay.
At the same time, my Mother-in-Law Lorraine, fell on the wicked ice we had shattered her Femur bone. So, we have been busy traveling to and from [and visiting] with her as she recovers.
Christmas Eve arrived and Christmas Day [I have lots of pictures and stories to tell...but will save them for a day when I have more time to upload and write]
New Year's Eve was quiet and very special, with Emma Sage, Rick and I the only ones home to say 'Good-bye' to 2007 and welcome in 2008!!!
I thank all of you who stop by and visit and I'm sorry that I have been a bad blogger!
Stop by soon to see and hear all about all the adventures Emma Sage has been up to!
Peace and love, Tara Marie & Emma Sage and clan
