Shark Tooth Hunting

Sam, this post is for you!

My cousin Sam asked how many sharks teeth did Otto and Andy [my cousin and Sam's brother] find at Mamies Reunion.

Well, the two of them were out hunting long after the rest of us headed back to the house for dessert.

Here is their find...........

Very neat finds!!! How neat it must be to be able to do this kind of search near home.

Are they all shark teeth?

IT LOOKS LIKE THEY ALL ARE EXCEPT FOR THE TWO AT THE TOP THAT ARE ODDLY SHAPED. NOT ACTUALLY SEEING THEM IN PERSON THOUGH, I'M SPECULATING ON THOSE. YES, SAT. WAS FUN!! :) I MUST SAY THAT I'M SORRY THAT I HAVEN'T BEEN VISITING THIS SITE UNTIL RECENTLY( COMPUTER PROBLEMS, ETC. MAYBE JUST NOT BEING IN THE GENERATION THAT GREW UP WITH THEM) ANYWAY, I AM SLOWLY GOING BACK TO YOUR ARCHIVES. WHAT WONDERFUL PIX AND THOUGHTS. THEY MAKE ME LAUGH AND CRY AT THE SAME TIME. WE WILL DEFINITELY MISS PHILLY. WE LOVE HER SOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH. SORRY THIS IS SO LONG.

Thanks Rebecca! They all are except the two pieces at the top, which are petrified cartlidge it looks like.

Aunt Jan, I'm so excited that you are reading and enjoying our blog.....it is the only way I was able to keep up with journaling with Emma Sage [as I had journals for the other three when they were young, but writing was getting less and less] but with typing in and easy upload of photographs, I'm back at it. It is also a wonderful way for family to 'see' what we are up too, especially my Mom's family in Ireland, as it doesn't cost them anythig to log on, unlike phonecalls or mail.

I too am missing my Mom so must these last few days....it is starting to really sink in and it is so very sad.

I love you all so very much! Tell Mamie we said hello and that Saturday was the most wonderful and magical of times! We are truly blessed by our families.
