Tara Marie, thank you for visiting my blog. I've had a look at yours today, and read the story of Emma Sage's birth, so beautiful.
Cathal's parents did not know he had DS until he was born. The shock to the family was huge, especially because his little heart demanded transfer within a few hours to the cardiac ward of the main children's hospital in Ireland (thankfully only a few minutes away from their home). He is my first grand-child, and so very precious!
I intend attending the World DS congress next summer in Dublin, we may be able to meet there. ;-)
As for your mother, she must have been a fine woman, coming from West Cork, Bantry Bay is so beautiful!
