Thank you all so much! It has been bitter-sweet decorating this year, as every thing we take out it seems that my Mother gave to me as a gift through the years.....
Jan, I used a flood light on her and then took the picture without the flash. The flood light was enough to eliminate her and still allow for the tree lights to be shining. If you use a flash, you loose the lights on the tree and it is just too harsh.

TM, would you take some pictures of your house sometime and post them? I love the little snippets we see in your pictures and I bet it's a beautiful, warm home. I especially love the dried flowers everywhere and the red cabinets.
