Homecoming 2006

Greta and her friends are heading off to homecoming this evening. Emma Sage was so excited to help her big sister get ready, but wasn't thrilled at all when she had to stay home with Daddy, while I brought Greta to her friends house for pictures. I got home and Emma Sage greeted me at the door and told me "I cry for you Mommy" and Rick smiled and said she just cuddled in his arms by the woodstove and said "Where'd my Mommy go?"

Since my Mothers passing, Emma Sage has been my shadow.....she doesn't want to let her Momma out of her sight, so this was a big seperation for her tonight.

Katrina and her friends are so [beyond high school] these days and headed into New York City for a show. She went to the last three Homecomings and what is a Momma to do.....if she doesn't want to go to the dance, I can't force her.

Greta and Me.........I didn't realize how horrible I look these days,,,,but the last two weeks of little sleep, lots of stress and too many tears, does not make for beautiful complections........but I am so happy to watch my little girl grow up and head off to a magical evening with her school mates.
