One of our favorite places to picnic and puddle-jump. This is the Tettertown Ravine [my in-laws owned 40 acres of this ravine which is now a county green-acre park] and is a mile up the lane from our house. The children and I love to walk to the ravine,,,,,put down a blanket, eat snacks and climb on the rocks and put our toes in the little stream that flows through the ravine. The weather has been very dry here and the stream is moving very slow....there are times though, after a heavy rain or early spring, where the stream comes crashing over these rocks [making lots of little waterfalls] and we just watch from a far.
