Riding Lesson

I know these video are not too exciting, and I had to shoot them from far away.....and in one you can hear the doves cooooing at me, and the other, when I shake a bit and you hear that loud bang, it was a goat trying to buck me! lol!!!

But, I find them to be so delightful, because I stand off in a distance and watch my little girl participate ~ on her own, in her group riding lessons........The first one she is just walking and following the instructions of her teacher {Ms. Bonnie, whom we adore} and the second one I caught a little bit of her trotting and then stopping on command.....I just love how she pats her horse to say 'Thank you!!!'

So enjoy a bit of our Monday afternoons.....

Hi Tara, so nice meeting you IRL over the weekend. We have been a big fan of your blog so it was such a treat to see Emma in action "live". She is enchanting!

Love these videos! She looks like a pro; how long has she been taking lessons?

Hi Chris.....It was so wonderful meeting you and your family!!

Emma Sage has been riding since she was 3, with Ms. Bonnie. We never did hippotherapy, which many children with T21 do, but just went with regular riding lessons. She rides for 8 weeks in the fall and 8 weeks in the spring each year.

I can't wait to visit with you again....are you going to the Buddy Walk?

She did great! :) We loved horse camp this summer and I hope the girls can keep it up.

And yes her little pat is adorable!

Wow, you are doing so good Emma Sage. I am really impressed with your trotting. I ride horses too. My horse is named Ridge. What is your horses name?

Oh how neat for her! My sister-in-law has horses and Jackie won't go near them. She's scared to death. I wish she wouldn't be, but that's how it goes.

Thanks for sharing your videos.

Look at Emma Sage ride! Wow!
I love how she gives the horse a pat for being a good pony! :) :) :)

Who's the new horse she's riding? I remember she used to ride a palomino and now she's on a lovely chestnut! :)

I'm so glad she's enjoying her riding :)

Love,
Allie

Hmmm, I can't get the whole video to show up! I wanna see them! Maybe I will try loading the page again.

Sean did hippotherapy for awhile and loved it. I'd like to keep up his horse back riding, too. It sounds like Emma Sage is a pro!

Emma Sage is such a beautiful and graceful young rider. Has she ever been to the Hampton Classic on Long Island? It was one of my favorite summer events when I was her age!
