On Thursday night, Rick and I watched our Greta stand on stage with some of her peers from her high school class and recieve the great honor of being Inducted into the National Honor Society.
Gathered in the audience were many proud parents, grandparents, siblings, Aunts and Uncles. Greta's family were amongst the crowd, and those that could not make it, were there in spirit.
I took a video clip to share with those members [Mamie, Aunt Jan, Uncle Jeff, PopPop and PopPop, Trixi & Micky] of her family that could not make it....but please all feel free to watch it [if you would like].....as this was truly an amazing group of young people, and listening to the ceremony, you realize that our future is indeed bright, as this generation of young people are motivated, caring, compassionate and will continue to shine bright for the rest of their lives, empowering and having a positive impact on the world they live in.
