Last night, after Trick-or-Treating, I quickly checked e-mail before heading off to bed.
This is the note that was in my Inbox:
Mr. and Mrs. Hintz,
I just want to relay to you the wonderful thing that Otto did during recess today. One of his classmates was feeling really bad that no one was playing with her and she started crying. Otto went over to her and got her to stop crying and offered to jump rope with her. Mrs. Miller and the girl held the rope while Otto jumped. After a few minutes several other classmates joined Otto, Mrs. Miller, and the girl. It was a very touching moment and made possible due to Otto's kindness.

What a wonderful testament to his upbringing! I'm sitting here smiling at how much that meant to that little girl...way to go, Otto!
Having seen his pictures on your website, I can totally see that in his face and in the faces of his sisters. I'm only surprised that you don't get e-mails like that every day.
It was thoughtful of that teacher to send you such a lovely email! You must be doing something right, huh?
