"Take the hand of your child and invite her to go out and sit with you on the grass. The two of you may want to contemplate the green grass, the little flowers that grow among the grasses, and the sky. Breathing and smiling together-that is peace education. If we know how to appreciate these beautiful things, we will not have to search for anything else. Peace is available in every moment, in every breath, in every step."
Thich Nhat Hanh,
Oh this child.....
My greatest hope and wish for my children is that they can always come to a place of PEACE. That they will always marval at the world around them and realize that there is really no other place to search for joy, as it is always within their hearts.

TM, Thank you - for so many things. Thank you for understanding the true beauty of our world. Thank you for sharing Emma Sage with all of us - it is most certainly a better world because she, and you, are in it. Thank you for capturing her essence and amazing soul in the pictures you take of her. Thank you for understanding that we not only have so much to teach, but so very much to learn.

What an amazing life we are living...

your daughter is so beautiful.
i remember when tests suggested that my son might be born with Down's syndrome and the feeling in my heart that it didn't matter - that this child was a gift to a woman of 40 who never thought she could have children-
he wasn't born with that "little something extra" after all but we still love him . ; )

ALL children are gifts to be shared with the world.
Thank you for reminding us all of that.

i am adding you to my blogroll - hope you add me , too.
