It's unusual for you to go so long without posting. Is everything OK? Or have you just disappeared on vacation?

I just love your photos of Emma. They're fantastic!

I wanted to thank you for your comment on my How do you cope when a child goes down the wrong path in life? post!

I appreciate your perspective and I agree with several points that you made. I know that there will come a point in my child's life that I will have to "let go" and pray for the best. I also agree that, as a parent, all we can do is raise our children with love, respect and guidance. It's what I strive to do each and every day with our son.

Thank you again for taking the time to express your opinions and share your personal experiences. I do appreciate it!

O.k. you haven't posted in days -- yet I think your avatar picture has changed -- and it appears that there is a space ship obstructing your face.

Have you perhaps been abducted by aliens? :)

Betsy said...

ok...I SWEAR your avatar picture was different yesterday!!! It totally had a space ship in it!!

Betsy, it was changed for just a bit...the spaceship was her amazing camera.

I don't think she has been abducted, but I am sure missing her as well.

lol--thank you -- I knew I saw it! Now I'm starting to get worried...where can she be?!

Has anyone ever seen that episode of The Simpsons where Marge makes Bart go upstairs to apologize to Lisa, only Lisa isn't in her room?

He offers apologies to the closed door about 5 times, and when he doesn't get any answer, screams "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOM, Lisa's making me feel bad!!"

That's what's happening here!!! TM, where, oh where are you?!?!

Well Betsy, this may be her most popular comment post. I had an email from TM early in the week, she mentioned being really busy.

Maybe she just forgot to hang her "gone fishing" sign :)

We miss you Tara Marie!!!

Well, I upgraded to the new blogger beta, and now it seems I can't comment as myself on any blog that is not in blogger beta... :(

Ok, now a new game...

Let's share how when we met her and how.

I'll start.

I met TM via this blog in August 2004, just a month after Miss E was born.

We have never met in person, although I hope to one day.

Her blog inspired me in so many ways--with her natural way of exposing the normalcy of Emma Sage's life through photos and snippets of her life.

She has shown me so much about life, without words, just through those amazing photos--that tell a beautiful story about their lives. She has a way of capturing her shot just at exactly the right moment--ever so perfectly.

TM is the reason I blog today, and for that I can only say that--I love you Tara Marie!

Whose up next? Betsy, Michelle, or someone else?

Oh and that was supposed to say "when we met her and how"...oh my I am having so many problems tonight.

LOL@Betsys abducted by Aliens comment. The camera kinda did resemble a space ship.
TM is also the reason I began blogging but that is not where I originally met her. TM was one of the first people I connected with after Tristan was born. The day I received the phone call from the genetic counselor telling me my son did in fact have a 3rd 21st Chromosome I went online and found Trisomy 21 online community. I was in awe with her Beauty way back then and still am. I am not sure if she knows how much her kind words meant to me in those first few weeks. Those were the toughest days of my life and her kindness lifted me up through them and helped me to keep going. Unfortunatley I did not know anything whatsoever about T21 and was horrified. I used to be an ignorant, superficial, self absorbed, unhappy girl. I visit TM's blog everytime I sign in and also if I am having a bad day. Tara Marie inspires me to view this world in a very differant way than I ever did before. I bet TM is crazy busy with the kids getting back to school and am so looking forward to hearing about Emma Sages homeschooling. Yes I have been checking that blog as well. :) Miss you TM!

Maybe she's in love. Isn't this what everyone does when they find new love? Ignore the rest of the world? Poor Rick. LOL Seriously, we love you TM and miss your wisdom and photos!
