We played today in the wheat field....

and took a bunch of pictures that reminded me of Laura Ingalls Wilder's 'Little House on the Prairie'...one of my favorite sets of books when I was a young girl, and then of coarse the TV series that was one of my all time favorites [I had a crush on Michael Landon, back from his Bonanza days].

So here are some of my favorite shots from our day......

I think my favorite is the top one.

I just had a thought. I bet it is very comforting for someone whose just finding out their child will have DownsSyndrome, to see how normal your daughter is, how much fun she has with life and how much she's loved.

It's a great way for people to feel supported and get information.

Good job!

Thanks @cameradawktor.....that is actually the motivating factor of my blog and website [http://www.emmasage.org],,,,that I brought her journal online [I have written journals/scrapbooks for all of my children] but I had hoped that by sharing our life with Emma Sage publically, it would be a wonderful way to advocate and share with the world the wonder and beauty of T21...to show the 'Normalacy of Difference' [which I started a Flickr.com group with that exact title] because if you think about it 'what is normal'....we are all different in various ways....but we are all more similar than different...and people with T21 or any other 'disability' are exactly the same...the are more like us than not, so why are we afraid?

I'm so glad that you have found us through Flickr....

Peace and love, TM

I love them TM :) Emma Sage is a beautiful little girl :) I wish I could get Brady to wear hats - I think he would look so handsome in a baseball cap - but he is soooo not into that LOL

Thanks for sharing your darling with us!!!

As I looked at these beautiful pictures, I started hearing the theme song to Little House in my head and pictured Laura Ingalls(sp?) running through the fields in the intro!!
