I thought this quote was quite fitting for this photograph and for the events of our day today. I took this delightful moment of Miss Emma Sage at Applebee's after we had returned from visiting my Aunt Franny. I adore my Aunt Franny [she is my great-Aunt] and she has just returned home with Hospice to take care of her as she has cancer and this is her time to relax, reflect and find comfort with the care of Hospice.....so that was the 'rough earthliness' of our day, and watching Little Miss drink this strawberry-bananna float was a bit of childhood heaven for me.
