After the shoot and making sure we look both ways when we cross the street at the cross-walk....since we live on a country lane, this is good practice for Emma Sage to realize that streets are busy and you need to watch the crossing lights and always 'Look both ways'! Posted by Picasa

Today, I didn't go on set with Emma Sage but watched from the window into the set and took this picture of the photographer and the compter screen that has Miss Emma Sage's image from the shot on it.....she was so excited that she got to model with a 'Dolly' as last night when I told her we were going to go 'Modeling' today, she was so excited and said "Maybe I model with a dolly?" and lo-and-behold she got to this time!!! There is also another beautiful little girl in the ad with her with the dolly, but you don't see that image on this shot. This is such a wonderful studio we have been to four times in the last few months for Toys R Us....we have also been into NYC and Northern NJ for two other shoots.....and many of the crew are the same on each location and Little Miss just adores them and they seem to 'love her back' just as much! Posted by Picasa

Curls and Mousse.....Oh MY!!!! Emma Sage just loves this part of modeling....the primping and pampering! Posted by Picasa

OK.....Mom....just one more picture! Posted by Picasa

Getting ready to have our hair and make-up done by Emma Sage's most favorite stylist....Ms Shelly! [She looks so grown up here to me....] Posted by Picasa

Guess where Little Miss was headed today? Yup.....you guessed it, she had another gig modeling and here we are on the way towards NYC.....as you can see, the Empire State Building is front and center across the Hudson from us at this point. Posted by Picasa

Ah,,,,this is a great hiding spot.....peeking around the corner to make sure the 'findee' is still on the hot pursuit of the 'hideese'......lol!!!! Ok, so my 15minutes is officially up and I will sign off till tomorrow. Posted by Picasa

When your little and there are this many big. old trees around, hide-n-see is just way too much fun. We had a blast playing in the park today..... Posted by Picasa

Ready~or~Not.....here I come!!! Posted by Picasa

"So whatcha up too?"....is what Miss Emma Sage is saying. Today we went to the park and played....we swang on the swings, we slid down the slide, we played hide-and-go-seek and took a walk by the pond.  Posted by Picasa

One tired little girl......Little Miss fell fast asleep at the dinner table this evening. {You can still see the spaghetti sauce on her face}. I am finding that my 15 minutes only of computer time to be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. Last night I sat in bed and started my book for my book club called 'An Artist's Way; A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity' and wrote 6 letters that got put in the mail today. I feel like I've abandoned some of the most important people in my life by leaving the public domain of the Internet...but at the same time, I've opened myself up to 'the most important' people in my life, my children and husband. Yesterday I got so many projects done. I know in time, it will get easier and easier to not want to run to the computer to 'read' what everyone is up too....and I know I'm going to miss so many incredible milestones and moments in many beautiful children's lives [I'm hoping their Mommy's will send me letters telling me all these wonderful things], but after 10 years of being 'online' I really need to take this time to 'unplug' and get back to the simple, slow things in life.

Every year all over the world people from all walks of life celebrate to usher in the New Year.
It is a time to remember that mankind has a chance to have a 'New' beginning.
It is a time of Thanksgiving to God for a beautiful year with better prospects in the subsequent years.
It is a non-negotiable period to rekindle the simple warmth of family, community and friendship.
It is most of all a period to appreciate the virtue of humility for being one of a number that lived to see the dawn of the New Day in a New Year

May we all be blessed in 2006 with food, shelter, health, happiness, friends and family.

May every child be cherished, recognized for their unique gifts.

"Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children." ~ Pablo Picasso
